This artwork is of a very friendly pair of fantails that Hannah photographed at Kina Beach, Tasman while on a bird watching trip in the South Island. The Māori word ‘tauawhi’ translates to hug, embrace and support (one another) as fantails are often found happily, roosting together in cold weather.
