Hannah’s fine art prints are giclée and limited edition.
The term ‘giclée’ refers to the printing process of the artwork – professional ink-jet printing with archival quality papers and inks, which is unlike the printing you do at home. Hannah’s artworks are printed in Wellington using Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth 305gsm; the smooth paper perfectly shows all the small details in her work.
Limited edition refers to an artwork being released in a certain amount of prints per size. The numbers you see signed on the front of the print shows which print you have, and how many there are in the size (e.g. 5/40 – Means print 5 of a total of 40 prints for that size). The editions for every artwork can be seen in the ‘additional information’ at the bottom of each print in the shop section.
Hannah hand-signs and numbers the front of every print and also writes the artwork name and the year the original was created on the back.
When an edition sells out of an artwork, no further prints are created or sold.
Framing
The majority of the artwork purchased through the ‘shop’ are unframed prints. They are displayed in a clear slip with backing board and are carefully packaged and sent between sturdy cardboard. Framing is a really personal choice and there so many amazing styles to choose from; Hannah recommends visiting your local professional framer to look at different options to suit you and your home. If you in the Kapiti Coast, Hannah highly recommends Warren and Kathy at Picture Perfect Framing in Waikanae who she uses on a regular basis.
Hannah often sells her original artworks framed, and these are sent with ‘Pack and Send’ who professionally package the artworks and provide insurance cover while in transit. They are very experienced with large, fragile items and can ship throughout New Zealand and internationally.

Hannah offers complimentary gift wrapping on request, so please let her know in the checkout notes if you’d like something special. She can also write personalised notes and send it straight to the recipient if required, easy!
