$12,000 for the Antipodean albatross

In collaboration with The New Zealand Nature Fund, Live Ocean and Southern Seabirds, Hannah raises $12,000 for the critically endangered Antipodean albatross by auctioning her ‘Welcome Home’ original artwork and Subantarctic Soaring print. Article is featured by ACAP (Agreement on the Conservation of Albatrosses) and written by John Cooper.

Many of Hannah’s artworks have been included in Forest and Birds’ book ‘Bird of the Year: Twenty Years of Ruffled Feathers: A Celebration of the Birds of Aotearoa’. This book is a vibrant, funny, and heartfelt look back at two decades of one of NZ’s most beloved (and delightfully chaotic) conservation campaigns. A range of Hannah’s artworks and bird photography have been included in the book ‘Letters of a Naturalist -The Field Accounts of Richard Henry of Resolution Island’. ‘A landmark collection of the written natural history legacy of pioneer conservationist Richard Henry (1845-1929), champion of our flightless native birds and New Zealand’s first wildlife ranger.’
